Dog Walker and Bather

Join our vibrant pet care team as a Dog Walker and Bather! In this role, you'll be the trusted companion for dogs during their daily walks and provide bathing and grooming services. Must live within 10 miles of Agoura Hills. Pay: $20/hr Responsibilities: - Safely walk dogs of various breeds and sizes - Handle animals with proper restraint techniques - Perform pet bathing and grooming (brushing, shampooing, drying, trimming) - Monitor dogs' behavior, recognizing signs of distress or health issues - Maintain cleanliness of grooming stations and walking equipment - Communicate effectively with pet owners about their pets' needs - Assist with pet sitting duties when required Qualifications: - Prior experience in dog handling, pet sitting, or animal care preferred - Knowledge of dog training techniques is a plus - Familiarity with animal restraint, pet grooming, and kennel procedures - Ability to perform heavy lifting for larger dogs - Strong communication skills - Commitment to animal welfare
